Nancy Pelosi Still Doesn't Get It: May Strip Conyers of Chairman Role This Fall!

Don't look now, fellow Democrats, but House Minority leader, Nancy Pelosi, has intimated that she means business when she discouraged talk of impeachment, if Democrats win control of the House, earlier this year. Pelosi may strip John Conyers of his well-earned and needed role as Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee if Democrats win in the Fall election!

The Ny Times on Friday reported this:

Seniority is a consideration, but merit of course must come first,” said Representative Nancy Pelosi of California, the Democratic leader, who has approved a review of party rules so Democrats are not left scrambling should they reach their political goal.

And some Democrats are nervous about the prospect of a Judiciary Committee led by Mr. Conyers, who has raised the prospect of impeaching President Bush, a notion that Ms. Pelosi has sought to bat down.

Issues Await if Democrats Retake House

Strongly suggests that anyone who disgrees with Nancy will not be appointed their earned and rightful places as chairpersons on repective committees. Instead, senior members, such as Conyers, would be passed over for what, in my estimation, amounts to a bunch of Pelosi "lap-dogs" chairing key House Committees that would otherwise justly expedite the impeachment of Bush and inject sorely needed accountability into our government.

Nancy claims she is not a moderate and proud to be a liberal; but I guess she forgot the whole thing about being an American, a representative of the people and her obligation to protect and uphold the Constitution!

All I can add is: "thoroughly disgusted!"
